I am very careful to carry out instructions given by pets' people. I communicate you as desired; asking any needed questions and letting you know right away if there are any problems. , . I would work cooperatively with you and your vet if any care was needed while you are away. I am very sensitive to animals' needs, both in providing responsible physical care, and emotional reassurance which is needed at times of your absence. I re-create, as much as possible, routines and times that your animals are used to when you are at home.
I have special interest and experience with providing holistic care in cases of health challenges. I have used nutrition, supplements, herbs, and homeopathy with my own animals, and have much information and resources to provide you if you have an interest. I have found this approach to be empowering, and in several cases, more effective than allopathic care when my animals were sick.
I have cared for both healthy dogs and cats, and cats and dogs with health challenges; from older animals to puppies and kittens. I have worked extensively with animals over the past six years; teaching loose leash walking and basic training, coordinating dog park and vet visits, and walking 30-60-pound dogs for distances of 1-2 miles. I have cared for an elderly cat on a special diet who has needed medication, and created individualized play and exercise for cats. I have also worked with farm animals including chickens, roosters, goats. sheep, and horses.
